Before you pay
Can I use my overseas-issued card?
Start with the cards and wallets you already use. Ario tenants have different acceptance rules. Overseas-issued cards, overseas wallets and tax-free participation have not been verified mall-wide. Confirm the individual shop and keep a backup payment.
Are Alipay and WeChat Pay accepted?
Not verified. Confirm each wallet and the eligible account region separately.
Can residents use tourist tax-free shopping?
Check purchaser eligibility in official guidance; nationality alone is not sufficient.
Does nanaco or PayPay work at every Ario shop?
No mall-wide guarantee. Ario and Ito-Yokado are nanaco merchants, but each tenant has its own rules. Check transport IC and code payments at the shop.
Does nanaco Credit Card earn extra points at Ario?
Normally 2 nanaco points per ¥200 of credit purchases, with some 1-point shops / sales areas. Cash rewards and eligible 5–10% tenant discounts have separate conditions. Apple Pay / Google Pay contactless and QUICPay are excluded from double points and those discounts.
Can any card receive the specialty-store discount?
No. Eligible credit purchases are with nanaco Credit Card, Seven Card Plus or Seven Card. Ito-Yokado and some tenants are excluded; shops, dates and rates vary.
Can I still apply for Seven Card Plus?
New applications ended on 30 June 2026. Existing members can use the nanaco Credit Card app.
Can shareholder gift certificates be used at Ario?
They can be used at group stores such as Ito-Yokado within Ario. Specialty stores depend on voucher acceptance; ask before using one.
Can I pay cash?
Cash purchases are accepted. Parking and other equipment may have separate payment conditions.

At Ario, I would look at specialty-store discounts as well as point rewards.
nanaco Credit Card is worth comparing, but I would first check whether a card I already own is enough for the shops I usually visit.
My first step would be to check whether my usual shops participate. Benefits vary by date and payment method, so I would not assume a phone payment qualifies in the same way.
It is worth choosing between your everyday card and store benefits to suit each purchase.
